Colorado Mountain College is a local-district, property-tax-supported, open-access college that grants associate and bachelor’s degrees. Through its 11 locations in rural resort areas, as well as via distance learning, Colorado Mountain College serves the educational needs of a population spread across 12,000 square miles of the picturesque north-central Colorado Rocky Mountains. Each year, close to 20,000 students take classes at Colorado Mountain College.

The Aspen Institute’s College Excellence Program has recognized Colorado Mountain College as among the country’s top 13 percent of colleges offering associate degrees, for exceptional student performance and outcomes. The College was also ranked #17 in the nation by CNN/Money for student success among more than 800 colleges offering associate degrees, and was rated #1 in Colorado for graduation plus transfer rates of students earning associate degrees.

In addition to two-year and four-year degrees, Colorado Mountain College offers certificate programs and serves traditional and non-traditional students with personal enrichment, workforce and career classes. Colorado Mountain College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The College has been offering classes since 1967.

Full-time Employment

The college offers an extensive benefit package for full-time employees.
